  • We will have a shotgun start immediately following the last group finishing the 18th hole after the Long Beach Open. In years past, the final group sometimes finishes between 2:30 to 2:40, so please arrive early enough to accommodate an early start if that is the case. Everyone will receive our 3 pm twilight rate ($38 for non-residents, $34 with a valid resident card) and carts are mandatory for the shotgun. HOWEVER, if the Long Beach Open ends in a tie, and extra playoff holes are required, we may be pushed back a few minutes.

Our goal is to have the shotgun finish before dark. With an estimated 3 pm starting time, this should give us a little over 5 hours, which SHOULD be plenty of time. Last year we finished in 4:20. This is where you, our valued customer, comes in. PLEASE, PLEASE keep up with the group in front of you. If everyone does this, the pace of play should allow everyone to finish with time to spare. A couple of helpful hints.....since the course will be in tournament condition, and we are encouraging everyone who wants to play the 'tips' to do so, we ask that you pick up your ball if your putt or chip for bogey does not go in the hole. Write down your double bogey and move on.

There is more demand for this format than we have tee times available, so please review the number of players you have reserved and make sure you call us to modify the total player count if necessary. No-shows will be charged. And remember, playing the 'tips' is encouraged, but of course this is still an option. The regular tee boxes can be played from the in-ground markers if you wish.

PLAY LIKE A PRO, ACT LIKE A PRO

One more note...at the beginning of this shotgun, every bunker should be footprint free and every ballmark on the green will have been repaired. We REALLY hope that when you are finishing your last hole, the bunkers and greens are the same as they were when you started. If everyone does their part by 'raking and repairing', this should be an experience that you enjoy and remember.

THANK YOU AGAIN for playing in this 3rd annual event, and go have some fun!
