Programs and Instructions

The El Dorado Park Golf Course proudly hosts active Men’s and Women’s Golf Clubs, both established in 1962. These nonprofit organizations welcome amateur golfers from Southern California and organize regular tournaments, social events, and membership meetings to foster a vibrant golfing community.

The Women’s Golf Club holds weekly Friday play days and monthly meetings, and members are part of the Women’s Public Links Golf Association with access to official handicaps. Likewise, the Men’s Golf Club conducts monthly tournaments and travels to premier courses regionally, supporting Southern California Golf Association memberships to establish individual handicaps. El Dorado Park Women’s Golf Club

The El Dorado Women’s Golf Club, established in 1962, is a non-profit organization located in Long Beach, California. Membership is open to all amateur golfers in Southern California. The club holds Friday play days with membership meetings on the first Friday of each month. As a member, you are also a member of Women’s Public Links Golf Association (WPLGA) and may establish and maintain a handicap.

El Dorado Park Golf Course Men’s Club

The El Dorado Park Men’s Golf Club, established in 1962, is a non-profit organization located in Long Beach, CA. Membership is open to amateur golfers in Southern California. The club holds monthly tournaments and membership meetings, as well as a number of away tournaments at fine courses throughout Southern California. Practice Facility

El Dorado Park Golf Course features an extensive practice complex including a spacious driving range, dual putting greens, a practice bunker, and a newly added chipping green. These facilities are designed to provide golfers of all levels with ideal conditions to refine every aspect of their game—from driving accuracy to short game finesse.

The practice area serves as an excellent venue for focused drills, warm-ups before rounds, or casual skill enhancement sessions throughout the week.

Nike Junior Golf Camps

Nike Junior Golf Camps focus on short game, irons, chipping, shot selection, sportsmanship, and strategy. The Camps provide junior golfers with the tools to help improve their game, and the friendships & motivation that lead to a lifelong love of golf. We offer a Half Day Camp from 9:00AM-12:00PM. Long Beach Resident Cards

Available for purchase at Recreation Park 18 Golf Course with the Starter, the Long Beach Resident Card provides discounted rates, as well as access to early and twilight times to better accommodate your busy schedule. To purchase, please provide a current driver’s license and a second form of verification with a current address, such as a car registration or a utilities bill.

Beyond instruction and play, El Dorado Park provides a welcoming atmosphere with a full-service restaurant and bar, offering a variety of dining options ideal for gathering before or after a round.
